Nothing is more nails on a chalkboard to me as a mom than the words “I’m bored”.
But instead of going off in a total rant on my 4, 7, and 9 year old about the fact that they are so privileged to even be able to THINK that, let alone say it, I’ve come up with several other more kid-friendly strategies to navigate summer boredom.
Your boredom solution!!
This week, I’m sharing a recent podcast episode that my new friend Allison had me on as a guest, on her show Memories in Moments. We tackle all the things on navigating summer boredom, including managing SCREEN TIME (which if you’ve been around for a hot minute, this is how we’ve navigated screens in our family during the summer in the past).
I think you’re going to enjoy our conversation because:
A. Allison is awesome and she’s totally one of our people
B. We talk about actual tangible strategies to help set you up for success this summer with your kids.
Think it’s impossible to be productive AND have kids at home? Think again! Put on your headphones while you’re tackling the laundry today and check out Allison’s episode, featuring yours truly, here.
